The Aqaba Thermal Power Station is located in the southwest of the Jordanian border, approximately 22 kilometers south of the city of Aqaba. It is 1 km away from the Red Sea and situated at an elevation of 35 meters above sea level, in the center of the industrial area.
The Aqaba Thermal Power Station consists of 3 steam generation units, each with a capacity of 130 MW, and a hydroelectric generation unit with a total capacity of 3.6 MW.
