Hussein Thermal Power Station

Hussein power plant is located in the northern region of Jordan, approximately 30 km northeast of the capital Amman. The plant site is located within Zarqa Industrial area and is situated 560 m above sea level. Hussein power plant comprises 7 generating units, 3 of which are steam turbines, nominally rated at 33 MW gross, 4 are steam turbines rated at 66 MW gross.
