Strategy

CEGCO aims to generate electrical power by using the available power resources, new and renewable resources, the produced electricity will be supplied to the National grid.

To accomplish these aims CEGCO has taken the following measures :

• Establish new electrical power plants to cope with the increased demand.

• Sell electrical power to any licensed or specialized party company in Jordan.

• Install the necessary manufacturing facilities to produce electrical equipments and spare parts for the power plants.

• Contribute and participate in any project concerning producing electric power inside and outside Jordan.

• Form and use control systems, communication, wire and wireless system to carry its work.

• Provide technical consultancy both inside and outside Jordan.

• Ratify contracts, take over, lease, exchange any right i.e. patent invention, trademarks and to dispose any of these rights inside and outside the Kingdom .

Mission

To generate electrical energy of good quality, high availability and cost-effectiveness by the local company staffs of operation and maintenance.

Objectives

• Generating electrical energy throughout the Kingdom using any source of power whether it was traditional, modern or renewable power sources and providing this power to the National Electric Power Co. (NEPCO) any other company or authority having a legal power in Jordan.

• Establishing and operating power plants needed for the company`s work and projects in addition to increasing the production of electrical energy as required from time to time.

• Entering into partnership with any company or project related to generating electrical energy in Jordan or abroad.

• Providing any services, consultations or conducting any studies in relation to generating electrical energy for any company in Jordan or abroad.
